Bhima, Hanuman and the Journey Through the Forest
The Pandavas continued their long forest exile.
Every day brought a new challenge.
Yudhishthira remained focused on dharma, while Bhima was always ready to protect his family. Arjuna was away acquiring divine weapons, and Draupadi continued to endure the hardships of forest life.

Bhima asked him to move aside so that he could continue his journey.
The monkey replied that he was too weak to move.
He asked Bhima to move his tail himself.

He thought that moving the tail of an old monkey would be an easy task.
But he was about to learn an important lesson.
4. Bhima Tries to Move the Tail
Bhima tried to move the monkey’s tail.
It did not move.
He tried again with greater strength.
Still, the tail remained exactly where it was.

He used all his strength.
But he could not lift the tail.

Hanuman then returned to his ordinary appearance.
8. Hanuman Gives Bhima a Blessing
Hanuman blessed Bhima.
He promised to help the Pandavas during the future war.
Hanuman told Bhima that he would also be present on Arjuna’s chariot flag during the great battle.
This is why Arjuna’s banner would later be known as the Kapidhwaja.
Hanuman’s presence on the flag would symbolize strength, courage and divine protection.
9. Bhima Continues His Journey
After receiving Hanuman’s blessing, Bhima continued his journey.
He eventually reached the region where the Saugandhika flowers grew.
He gathered the beautiful flowers and returned to Draupadi.
Draupadi was delighted.
Bhima’s journey had brought him more than flowers.
It had given him an important lesson about humility and the true meaning of strength.
10. The Pandavas Face More Challenges
The forest exile continued.
The Pandavas encountered many sages, kings and supernatural beings.
Every experience taught them something.
Yudhishthira continued to follow the path of dharma.
